The Original TradeWars 2002 Battle Calculator is designed to tell you how many fighters to apply to an
attack if you wish to capture the Enemy Ship.
Select the ship you are in from the list to the left (if you are in a ship not listed, manually
enter its Offensive Odds in the field provided).
Select the ship your enemy is in from the list on the right (if your enemy is in a ship not listed,
manually enter its Defensive Odds in the field provided).
In the 'Defensive Shield %' field, enter at what percent the enemy's shields are shown by your combat
scanners to be (note: not all ships have combat scanners). The Max Shields field will have to be entered
manually if your enemy is in a ship not listed.
Manually enter the number of fighters on the Enemy Ship in the 'Defensive Fighters' field.
Press the 'Calculate Fighters' button. Apply to your attack the number of fighters now displayed in
the 'Offensive Fighters' field (round your fighter amount up or down accordingly if a decimal exists).
This should result in your capturing the Enemy Ship.
